These shoes are gorgeous, surprisingly comfortable, and a perfect fit. I have very small feet and a high instep, so it's difficult to find shoes that fit well without being too tight around my instep. The lacing on these makes for a perfect fit, without any obvious extra stretch or impacting the style. Love them!

Ohhhh, friends. Let me tell you, these boots are an absolute delight. After Dr Martens broke my heart one too many times, I set off to find a new black boot that lasts long and looks good doin' it. The search led me here and I couldn't be happier. I finally get my mom's love of shoes.

The first pair I ordered were just a touch too tight around the bridge/sides of my feet and I worried that I would pop the seams in the process of wearing in the leather. I didnt want to ruin such beautiful work! But also! I wanted these boots! Ditte was very patient and helpful as I blabbed way too much via email and got the whole thing sorted. I had initially ordered an 8 but after re-measuring myself and Ditte's advice, we exchanged them for a 7 wide.

I was worried about the new size, since I've usually only ever gotten 9 or 8.5's before, but they fit like a dream! There's a bit of tightness, but in exactly the way you want new leather shoes to be tight, knowing they'll soon become perfection and you won't have to suffer during the process.

Exactly what I was looking for; a black pump to dress up or keep plain, and it got to me with no issue. Haven't gotten to wear them out just yet, but they already feel really comfortable and are super cute!

I got these as evening shoes for a 1930s themed evening look and they are so comfortable I will be putting them into my normal rotation. Lovely gold, comfortable out of the box, and true to fit. Absolutely love them.

Beautiful shoes. Very comfortable, except that I have a big toe that was broken in 1991. The toe is misshapen and sticks out enough to cause any normal shoe to rub the toe precisely on the protruding area of the bone. I’m trying to convince myself that I can wear them because they are so beautiful, and I’ve never had beautiful shoes like this. Very well made shoes!

I’ve been IME for a while, and nabbed them on a sale. I am loving this brand, and the shoe in particular. Very comfortable, excellent vibe that pairs with modern office where with a twist and also with a few of my well loved vintage dresses passed down in the family. Everything was shipped and packed very nicely, you can feel the love that comes with this brand.

These boots are beautiful. I have a wide foot so I am overjoyed to finally have a pair of "witchy" boots that don't pinch my toes. The leather is exquisitely soft and comfortable. I will definitely be wearing these on my next visit to Salem, Ma!

I can't say enough about how beautiful this 1940's suede Esther pump is in Powder Rose. It is a very soft pink with lovely velvet shoe laces. The fit and comfort are perfect. I could not be happier with this selection.

I love the colorful decorative stitching, the quality of the suede, the heel height and the unbelievable comfort. I ordered the navy pumps to wear with navy tights and a winter skirt. Memory’s shoes are an investment and they are worth every penny.

Wow !!! The workmanship is impeccable. The styles spot on. The footbeds are exceptional cushion. The quality of the leather is supple and suede it top suede. I adore this designer & love everything. I have Stella in red and LOVE them! Definitely my favorite Memery shoe style. So I was hoping more colors would be forthcoming. Black wasn’t what I was hoping for, but I realized I had no close toed dressy black heels so I grabbed these during the sale. They shipped quickly and are definitely very classy in the black color! Now I’m hoping for white next! :-)

In the 1980s I had a pair of lace up boots that I dubbed my “Virginia Woolf” boots. This year, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the publication of Woolf’s MRS DALLOWAY, I am delighted to have these Edwardian boots! They are very comfortable from day 1.
