Ordered these and another pair of shoes as a first order from memery.
These were too big and I am returning them to wait for the next size down is available to order. The shoes are really well made and were exactly what I am looking for. The other pair fits much better and I will review those separately.

These shoes are great, vintage charm with a slight modern touch. My partner loves them and says they are comfortable. We had to exchange for a size down (my fault) and had no problems doing so.

Je fais normalement une taille 38.5 et j'avais commandé une taille 38, car j'avais vu 2 avis conseillant de prendre une taille en dessous si on est entre 2 taille. C'était une erreur, il a fallu que je fasse un échange pour une taille 39.
Je pense que si votre pied est très mince, il est possible que la taille en dessous puisse vous aller. Mes pieds ont une largeur normale et le 38 s'est avéré très inconfortable et parfaitement inadapté à mes pieds.
La taille 39 s'avère parfaite, le cuir est très souple et peu s'adapter facilement à nos pieds. La partie la moins confortable s'avère la zone de laçage sur le dessus du pied qui paraît plus raide par rapport au reste de la chaussure.

After a confusion about size was resolved, and an easy exchange was made my anticipation was realized. I am thrilled, delighted, and complimented by everyone who has seen me wearing them. #1The shoes are gorgeous.#2They fit well. #3 They are comfortable to wear working and standing for 4 hours (I know, I have done it already.) #5 I felt safe from falling all day; a real issue since I am 80. I could write a chapter. I LOVE THESE BEAUTIFUL SHOES from Menery.

I love, love my Memery shoes. Beautifully made and exquisitely finished off. I am still ‘breaking them in’ but they fit like a glove and are quite comfy around the house. Can’t wait to wear them outside. I will definitely be buying more from this company. The shoes were exactly as described and delivery was swift too.

These are beautiful shoes, well made, stylish & so elegant… they are slightly tight over my toes however as they are good quality leather they will soften over time & stretch which is why they are keepers… just love the authentic period styles…

I first sent a message to Memery asking for a recommendation for a style of shoe to wear with my vintage 1960s dress, and they kindly recommended the Marlene. I loved how they looked when they arrived, and they fit perfectly. But more than that, I wore them for the first time (I didn't have time to break them in) for my son's wedding, and I had them on for at least 6-7 hours with no discomfort, no blisters, nothing but a beautiful look and experience. I couldn't have been happier with my shoes! Thank you again for making the lovely day a completely comfortable one too!

I love these boots! I was hesitant to purchase this pair, as I have a similar pair from a different manufacture that, while lovely to look at, put pressure on just the wrong part of my foot to make them nearly unbearable to wear. This pair, however, has a slightly lower and thicker heel, and is so comfortable to wear (even in the snow we have here now!)
My only complaint is that they are slightly too wide for my feet, and I have to wear much thicker socks to get a snug fit. I am in the middle of losing weight, and worry that they will be too loose by the time I am at my goal weight. I wish they came in a narrower size.
