I recommend sizeing up (even thu I choose wide fit) still tight from the side .

If you chose to size up, they will be 7mm longer, so it depends on how they fit you length wise, otherwise they will slip at the heel. Beautifully made and constructed, blue color is so much prettier in person. The design keeps weight over your heel instead of pushing forward onto the ball of your feet which is a game changer. Love these.

I love my new shoes. They fit me perfectly. The only negative thing is that they are difficult to put on, because of the tight fit and the laces.

Really beautiful, but the insole is really slippery and heel is sliding off. First time I ordered the 38 size which was too big for me but the heel is still slippery even with smaller size. But otherwise great.

Too short
Hi Vivian. I'm sorry to hear you thought our ankle socks were too short. They're supposed to go just aboe the ankle, and you can adjust how much you roll them down, to suit your ankles and feet. The boots came in rather recently and thus far I have found no problems with the boots. They look lovely. Initially I was scared the back of the boot would chew up my heel, as is frequently the case with boots, but I haven't found that to be too much of an issue as of now.
PSA to the fellow Canadians;
I was a bit silly and made the error of assuming that free shipping meant Duty Free. It does not.
The import tax for me added an additional $100 CAD to my boots when I went to pick them up from the post office. Just something to keep in mind when you're ordering.
That said I loved the boots, and I look forwards to buying another pair of shoes:)

These shoes are so cute and comfortable. I usually wear a size 8, but Mette and Lars were very facilitating in issuing my exchange for a size 7. The shoes are leather and will stretch a bit over time, but the 7 fit perfectly.

Absolutely beautiful boots. Immaculate construction, beautiful quality leather, true to original vintage style, supremely comfortable for my wobbly arthritic ankles and a joy to wear. I now have the brown and black and although expensive a thoroughly worthwhile investment.
