These precision-crafted everyday leather boots pay homage to the classic designs of the 1910s and 1920s.
Featuring a spacious, round toe and a 3.5 cm high heel, the shape and height of the heel offer optimal comfort and stability. The boots, which feature wide ribbon shoelaces, have leather soles and a soft sheep leather insole—genuine to the original boots of this period.

Wide or Regular - Which width to choose if both are available? Wide styles are two sizes up in width compared to the regular size. I recommend choosing wide shoes if you usually buy wide-style shoes. My wide styles are an EEE size.

Ohhhh, friends. Let me tell you, these boots are an absolute delight. After Dr Martens broke my heart one too many times, I set off to find a new black boot that lasts long and looks good doin' it. The search led me here and I couldn't be happier. I finally get my mom's love of shoes.
The first pair I ordered were just a touch too tight around the bridge/sides of my feet and I worried that I would pop the seams in the process of wearing in the leather. I didnt want to ruin such beautiful work! But also! I wanted these boots! Ditte was very patient and helpful as I blabbed way too much via email and got the whole thing sorted. I had initially ordered an 8 but after re-measuring myself and Ditte's advice, we exchanged them for a 7 wide.
I was worried about the new size, since I've usually only ever gotten 9 or 8.5's before, but they fit like a dream! There's a bit of tightness, but in exactly the way you want new leather shoes to be tight, knowing they'll soon become perfection and you won't have to suffer during the process.

I had bought some evening shoes from Memery which were amazingly comfortable so I was surprised that the boots were not as comfortable. I feel like they need breaking in particularly they are hard around my ankles.

We suggest wearing them around the house for a few hours with some slightly thicker socks in to help soften the leather. So nice to finally find proper quality shoes. They are a bit tight around the foot, but since it’s real leather, it’s just a matter of time and then they will fit like a glove. Wow!

I've had many similar pairs of boots through the years but these are perfect. The boots are so well made, I've had them for 2 years at this point and expect them to last many years to come. As someone with EDS, they provide excellent ankle and foot support for walking around all day. I often wear them for all day shopping trips or going to the ren faire.
It's a bonus they come with two sets of laces.
