I have coveted the Emily shoes since I first found Memery. I have now bought them in both Black and Cognac and they are the jewels of my wardrobe. They bring be so much joy to wear and have made it much easier to step into vintage fashions as they complete any look I put together.

I have extra wide feet and am between sizes in foot length—it generally depends on the make of the shoes if will fit true to foot length or need to give myself additional room by going up a size. After a quick consultation email with the Memery team, I ended up ordering the larger of the two sizes to give myself the added room and they fit like a glove. If you have similar extra wide feel I would recommend doing the same.

I have wanted a pair of 1930s/40s oxfords for the longest time; they just have that wonderful classic style. These are perfection—well made and with a beautiful cognac color. I bought them earlier this summer and have been waiting for fall tights season to wear them. Sizing was a bit odd for me; I normally wear a US size 6 or 6.5 wide, but I went with the size chart and Mette’s recommendation to go with the 4 wide based on my actual foot length. It fits perfectly, maybe a smidge big even, but I plan to get a pair of her inserts just in case. Already planning my next purchase!

This is my second pair of memery, and I've worn them daily for about a week, and they are very comfy.

Very nice and comfortable vintage inspired shoes. I ordered the wide style in EU37 ( usually wearing 38) and they fit perfectly.

Beautiful shoes. Very comfortable, except that I have a big toe that was broken in 1991. The toe is misshapen and sticks out enough to cause any normal shoe to rub the toe precisely on the protruding area of the bone. I’m trying to convince myself that I can wear them because they are so beautiful, and I’ve never had beautiful shoes like this. Very well made shoes!

The shoes are as described and very well made. Unfortunately they weren't right for me. Appreciate the quick and easy return process.

These were a gift for a dear friend and she absolutely adores them. She said ‘they’re beautiful and fit like a dream’. Hers are a size 8 in a wide fit, I have a 7 wide - and they are the best fitting shoes I own. I’ve had mine for three years and they’re doing fine. A bit slippy on the soles when the pavement is wet, but this doesn’t detract from their quality in my opinion; a feature of 1940s shoes!
