Early 1930s oxford high heels- Cream - Marie

Beautiful, stylish, excellent quality. Sadly they do not fit my foot well. The upper foot, toe box, ect. is perfect. The heel is too big, even with inserts. I'm a size 🇺🇸 7, B or medium width with a "AA" heel. Shoes used to be made with what was called a "combination last". Meaning a medium width & a narrow heel. The height of the heel is a little higher than I expected, too. I need a shoe with a more narrow heel box & a lower height heel. I'm hoping to make an exchange for another style of shoe & maybe a size 🇺🇸 6 It makes me sad because these shoes are so beautiful. The craftsmanship is unmatched by any other shoe maker. I wish I could keep these.

simply put, these are beautiful shoes from material to construction. I got the wide size to accommodate my longer toe box and it worked well. The colour is so much richer in person!

My second pair of memery shoes and they never disappoint. I have problems with my feet so you can imagine how hard is it to find perfect vintage inspired shoes that are comfortable! When i received mine there was a slight red mark on one of the shoe but thankfully I managed to get it off with no issues. I can tell that I'll be wearing these a lot during the spring and summer and when I go to Greece. I'll be continuing supporting this company as the shoes are worth the price.

This is my 2nd pair of Memery shoes and I'm sure won't be the last.
I love that they are unusual and distinctive, in the nicest possible way, because so many shoes from other suppliers are so alike.
I have wide feet and therefore choose from the wider sales, when I received my Oxford's they were a little tight around my toes so I wore them in the house, I managed a couple of hours on the 1st day but almost all day on the 2nd, that's how quickly the soft leather shapes to your feet. I'm confident that these will quickly become as comfortable as my previous pair.
I have seen some criticism of the price, but Memery shoes are well made and have leather soles, which has always been a sign of quality. The price comparison should be other leather soled shoes, if you can find any, not the local high street. I'd rather save for Memery shoes than buy two pair on the high street.
