These everyday lace-up boots are crafted from top-quality leather, evoking Edwardian-era style with a design inspired by models from 1915 to 1920.

Featuring a medium-high shaft, secured by long cotton laces, and a slightly sturdy 1,2 inch heel, these boots offer both comfort and stability.

These boots are gorgeous and are real leather however, they are not 3X wide like they advertise.

These boots fit me fine in the length however I really needed a 3X wide boot and this boot is not it.

I emailed the company and they maintain it is 3X wide, but I can barely get my foot into it and it’s extremely tight.

I asked if it would stretch and they said no more than a quarter to a half inch and that isn’t going to be enough.

If you return the boot, it has to be in the original condition so it’s not like you can wear it for a month or two to see if it’s gonna stretch enough to fit, so I’m going to have to return it. It’s looking like I have no other option but to find someone that makes custom-made boots.

Really sad, if I was a standard size and would’ve worked out perfectly

Dear Christine. I'm glad to hear you like the look and the quality of the Ruth boots, but of course sorry to hear they didn't fit you well. As I wrote in our email exchange, our wide styles are two sizes up in the width, while the length remains the same and are based on shoe last EEE and are mainly wider around the front of the feet. We strive to make shoes and boots that fit most feet, but all feet are different, and sometimes it's unfortunately just not a match. It is also an option for you to go a size up in the wide style, but this will also add 7mm to the length. As said, the leather will expand over time, but I cannot promise it will expand enough for it to be comfortable for you, and we cannot take the shoes back once they've been broken in.

Buttery soft!

These boots are so pretty and delicate even on my large size tens! They feel comfortable out of the box, perfect heel height, and I can’t wait for the weather to turn cool enough to wear them. Too bad it’s still in the 90s here.

Beautiful boots

I'm so pleased with these! I honestly didn't know if I would be able to see any difference between high-quality shoes and the footwear I usually wear, but I absolutely can...these are very well-made, comfortable, stylish, and unusual. I will definitely be buying more shoes from this site.
