Sturdy, casual, everyday 40s-style shoes with closure on the side

These everyday 40s-style shoes, crafted from soft full-grain leather, feature a side closure with laces, a rounded toe cap, and a sturdy leather outsole. The 2.5 cm high heel provides good comfort and stability, making the shoe suitable for everyday use. The outsole is made of leather, making the shoe flexible and breathable. A 5 mm high rubber outsole is attached to the heel. Soft silicone inserts under the leather insoles provide good comfort, making them very comfortable.

Sizes: US: 4-12 - see size chart for measurements. Some customers go one size up compared to other memery styles.

My Perfect Shoe

These shoes are even more beautiful in person and on my feet. The roomy toe area makes it comfortable right out of the box and the side tie is so sharp looking. Great everyday walking shoe.

Best shoes I own

So stylish and comfortable. Like all shoes, these need a bit of breaking in, and the leather soles can be slippery at first. With a few wears these shape beautifully to your feet. They are spacious and comfortable, and I have seldom received so many compliments on my footwear!

Beautifull shoes

These are lovely shoes, really well made beautiful design. They arrive beautifully presented too. I was so sad to have to return them as i was unable to wear them with the custom orthotics i have to insert into my shoes.

Skønne sko, ville ønske de også fandtes i W, men jeg har blokket dem og skal have hælen gjort mere blød, da mine sarte hæle får vabler efter bare 2 minutter. Men jeg glæder mig til at gå med dem, når jeg lige får sat gummisål på forfoden. Men det gør jeg med alle nye sko, og det gælder ikke kun jeres sko, jeg mener alle ny indkøbte sko.

New favorite

Very comfortable shoes. Simple yet unique. I'd like to see other colors! The shape is perfect, with plenty of room for the toes. I'd love to see other styles with this last.

Beautifully made...

And comfortable! Love the side-tie laces (which I intend to embellish with leather ends for a bit more of a folksy look).
I'm between sizes, so they are roomy for my 38,5 foot. Using 1/2 insoles. Have bought 38's and they are snug.

Ellen black shoes

I wanted a pair of plain black shoes to wear with jeans and trousers that weren’t boots and had a nice stylish shape to the foot. These fit the bill perfectly
I love the quality and craftsmanship in the making of these and I’m sure they will only get better with age and wearing. I’ve been on long walks with them and I have no problems at all in fact they even seem to be making me walk straight!! There is plenty of room for my dodgy toes too!!
