I bought these for an autumn ladies tea party event at my church, and I was the music entertainment (singing). I wore these shoes in brown and got SO many compliments. 💗 I purchased US size 9 (UK 40) which is my usual size, and these worked out perfectly. I don't have wide feet, but I ordered the wide because dress shoes typically run a bit narrow on the toebox anyhow, and they were PERFECT. I think that if you've got average foot width but want the toe box to be roomy, definitely get the wide in your regular size. You won't regret it!! These are so lovely right out of the box. You can tell they are made with care and attention to detail. The bottoms are a bit slippery at the ball-of-foot, which is normal for new dress shoes, so I just bought some non-skid soles from Target (in the shoe area), stuck those on there, and never had to deal with scuffing up the bottoms before wear. If you can't find non-skid stick-on soles, you can just walk around scuffing your feet on rocks or the sidewalk and they will be be non-skid for ya' in no time. I have flat feet, so I can't wear too-high heels and these are low enough to be very comfortable/walkable and high enough to be classy. I highly recommend, and I plan on getting MORE shoes from Memery... This isy new favorite brand of shoes!!! I am SO happy this company exists, as I adore vintage shoes..... And these ones are NEW. 💗Swoon💗🥰

Great shoes, fit well ,look fabulous and comfortable

Very disappointed with these shoes. My second pair from Memery, first one was good and comfortable but these ones are so hard at the back and front. They gave me very bad blisters and broke my stockings at the front. As soon as I tried them on I could tell they were uncomfortable but I decided to give them a go anyway. Now I won’t be using them again and it was a waste of a lot of money.

These are absolutely beautiful shoes. You can’t beat the craftsmanship of them and the colour are just stunning. I’m still getting used to the fit and height of the heel but this is me, as I’m constantly in flats and trainers! But they’re just too pretty to send back. So I will force myself to wear them. I would love it if they did come in a slightly smaller heel like the Esther too.

I am so looking forward to wearing the dark green Edith heels with tweeds and tartan in the Fall. The heel is extremely well balanced so it does not feel so high and the colour and decorative stitching will work very well for me. I do hope continued buyer support will let you keep adding to the wide collection.

I am obsessed with these shoes - I ordered the wide version in my usual size, and they are a perfect fit! I highly recommend opting for the wide version if you have average to wide feet, as it would seem the normal version suits people with narrow feet.

The colour is amazing, such a vibrant green 💚 I was able to wear these straight out of the box without blisters too - granted, I was only walking around the office, but it feels like the shoe is designed to flare out a little at the back so it doesn't rub on your heel.

I can't wait to save up and get these in blue!

Been haunting the Memery page to admire these shoes for years now. Finally bought them, along with a pair of sandals the same size. The sandals fit perfectly, the shoes are a whisker narrow. Speaking to a friend with the same pair, she had the same experience. I will hope they start to give a bit, but if you have average to wide feet, it might be worth you going up an EU size to be sure. I hope one day to get another pair, different colour, and will definitely do that. Otherwise they are gorgeous, exactly as promised

I love these shoes so much; not just because they have the vintage styling that I love, but even more important, they are COMFORTABLE!!!I purchased them in "Wide", and I am so glad I did.
A few years ago, my husband purchased a pair for me in regular width, and a half size larger, because he knows I like a wide fit, and I don't think you offered "Wide" at that point.
The shoes were beautiful (a chartruese green suede), but they managed to be both too long and too narrow. I hate returning things, so they basically are gathering dust in my closet-never worn :( The "Wide" option makes such a difference; I look forward to purchasing more. And yes, I would (and do! ) recommend Memery Shoes.
