A sophisticated, Edwardian-style walking boot with a lace-up closure.

The Edwardian style boots feature a pointed toe and 5.3 cm medium-high heel. They boast a slim fit shaft that has numerous eyelets to secure the long cotton laces. A fine hole pattern adorns the toe and full-grain leather covers the outsole for a complete look. The surface is smooth with a hint of natural texture. Inside, the boot is lined with canvas and leather, and silicone inserts are included under the leather insole for increased comfort.

Shoes folded in half to fit in box

Nice looking shoe but a bit on the narrow side. The shoes were folded in half to fit in the box which is not a good thing for long term storage. I now have to stuff them to get the creases out and find a larger box to put them in. I have several pairs of this style of shoe and none of them were folded in half when I received them,

Hi Florence. Thank you for your review. You're always welcome to write to us regarding sizing, we'll be happy to help you. Our boots are made of leather, and as soon as you start wearing them, the leather will soften up, and the creasing around folding of the shaft will dissapear.

Great boots, but size up

The quality is amazing but they do run narrow, going a size up is a good move

Obsessed!

These are my absolute favorite pair of boots! I wanted a pointy toed boot that made my foot look narrow and dainty while still being comfortable and these fit the bill! You won’t regret it! Buy them!

My new favorite boots!

Absolutely beautiful boots and a joy to wear. They strike a perfect balance between style and practicality for me. They fit perfectly and were comfortable right out of the box, growing even better with a little breaking in. The flat laces can take some doing, but it really only adds another minute or two to getting ready. I'm very glad this boot is offered in wide, as I've found that a US8 wide is best for me in most Memery styles.

Beautiful - but ran small for me

These are beautiful boots. I am usually a 10 in modern shoes, but these ran small for me. I used to deal with discomfort in terms of shoes - but as I age, comfort is something I put first. It is possible they would have stretched out, but I didn't have the patience.

I love these shoes!

I've been eyeballing these shoes for a couple years now and finally bit the bullet and bought them. What everyone else is saying is true, they're so comfy! I wish I'd bought them sooner, honestly. They're easily my favorite pair.

So confortable and vintage - contemporary!

In the 1980s I had a pair of lace up boots that I dubbed my “Virginia Woolf” boots. This year, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the publication of Woolf’s MRS DALLOWAY, I am delighted to have these Edwardian boots! They are very comfortable from day 1.
