Elegant 1940s-style ankle lace-up winter boots. These charming boots feature an almond-shaped toe, 2,5 in high heels, and a breathable, soft cream-white wool lining for warmth and comfort. The ankle-high boot shaft has a slim fit, secured with thick shoelaces.
Crafted from very soft full-grain leather, these boots showcase suede details and sturdy rubber outsoles. The rubber soles provide protection in wet weather, while silicone inserts beneath the leather insoles ensure optimal cushioning.

I've been wanting these since they came out and finally splurged when they came back in stock on the USA website. Just the perfect color of red - a true cherry red, not too burgundy or too fire-engine red! It goes so well with fall outfits and will be PERFECT for Christmas, especially with that peep of white fur around the ankle.
I am between sizes, and when that happens I always order a half size small because I prefer snug shoes, but for these I ordered a half size up (size 8 instead of size 7.5) and I'm glad I did because the sheepskin lining on these is super thick and takes up a lot of space. I'd say the 8 is as snug on me as a 7.5 would normally be; the sheepskin makes it extra soft padded and warm - a huge bonus for winter wear! My other vintage style boots have just wool lining, but these go the extra mile. I also like that this heel is a bit higher. Looks very stylish but still comfy to wear during winter shopping and outings. Excellent quality, as expected from Memery, and arrived in just a few days - LOVE having a USA website to order from now!

A slightly too narrow a fit. I dont usually have a broad fitting on shoes and wary of online shopping at the best of times. They do look very nice and so disappointing that they are tight.
However returning the shoes is a nightmare. Inpost needs a code number manually which you cant seem to supply. You have suggested a 15 mile drive to some other place or return locally at my own cost. This only cements my dislike of online shopping!

I've been aware of Memery shoes for a few years now but wasn't able to afford to buy them until the recent opening of their UK warehouse. I was also a bit hesitant about buying online as sizing can be so important but the online size guide was simple to follow, and the customer services team responded to my queries within a few hours which really put my mind to rest.
As for these boots themselves. I *LOVE* them. They are a tad tight but given they are lined and are leather I know with wear they will stretch out a bit. The size 7 fit fine (I can wear anything from a 6 to a 7 depending on brand) in terms of length. I have only worn these out once so far for around 14 hours and was very comfortable.I'm looking forward to some chillier weather when I can wear them more often.
The soles are well lined making me feel confident you could wear these in icy conditions. I also liked that my package included some spare heel 'ends' for ease of replacement - as well as spare laces. The packaging around the shoes was really good meaning they arrived in pristine condition, and the same day dispatch (with an early morning purchase) meant I did in fact get the boots within 48 hours.
I was so pleased with this purchase I bought a different pair of boots just a week or so later, so if you are on the fence about trying out Memery I think it is certainly worth trying them out.

I really like these boots, they’re surprisingly comfortable for the height of the heel. They have a rubber sole which grips quite well, the only point that could improve is that the heel base is plastic, so has already started to wear away, where as rubber would have lasted longer. A spare heel base is included, but I would have preferred rubber on the heel to begin with

I am requesting writing this review as I mistakenly gave a one star review and dont know how to edit it. Five star shoes. Very soft and comfortable. The regular width 38 is a good fit for my slightly wide feet.

These stunning red boots make me feel like a princess. The color is wow! They really are gorgeous and so comfortable. I always size up when I buy boots, I personally need the extra space. I have already bought the black ones so I knew the red ones would be perfect too. The detail and the quality is superb. I am really happy with all my memery purchases.
